The third annual CTRL Survey has hit the presses, and its results shed some interesting light on how corporate teams’ use of analytics is evolving over time.
Notable trends for 2018 indicate a strong focus on productivity: better information governance, exponential growth of analytics usage for contract review, and smarter data culling dominate applications.
Maybe the most impactful takeaway is that “the overwhelming majority of respondents agree that data analytics will be ‘will be very important, will be considered indispensable, and [their] use will be widespread’ among the legal profession over the next 10 years.”
