Belonging in Action

Belonging isn’t just something we believe in – it’s something we build. In 2025, we turned intention into impact, within Relativity and beyond.
Beth Clutterbuck

A Letter from Relativity’s Chief Human Resources Officer

There was a moment last year that stayed with me. After one of our Community Resource Group events, a Relativian shared, “I didn’t realize how much I needed this space until I had it.”

That simple statement captured something essential. When people feel truly connected and supported, it changes everything about how they show up – for their work, for each other, and for the world beyond Relativity.

Belonging sits at the center of how we operate. Feeling seen helps our people lead with empathy, bring care into their teams, and pour that energy outward into their communities. In 2025, we focused on making belonging tangible. Not just as a value we name, but as something people actually experience every day.

There is always more work ahead. That's not a caveat – it's a commitment. I'm proud of the progress we've made this year, and deeply grateful to every Relativian who shows up each day intent on building something worth belonging to.

This report is a reflection of that work. I hope it moves you the way it moves me.

Our Pro Bono Commitment, Five Years Strong

2025 marked the five-year anniversary of Justice for Change, and there's no better place to begin.

Justice for Change

Justice for Change

Adequate legal representation for low-income and marginalized communities is a cornerstone of a functioning justice system, and the attorneys and legal services organizations who take on this work deserve the same tools as anyone else. Justice for Change gives them exactly that – free access to Relativity's most powerful technology for those advancing access to justice. What started as a focused commitment has evolved into a scalable, globally engaged pro bono program. This year, we expanded the offering to include Relativity aiR and Translate, and launched the Access to Justice category at the Relativity Innovation Awards, honoring leaders like Arnold & Porter's Melissa Weberman for advancing pro bono work through legal technology.

“Large organizations can staff a hundred people to review data. Public‑facing and pro bono organizations can’t – and even if they could, they’d spread those resources to cover more issues. Technology is what levels that playing field.”

Our People-Driven Community

Belonging is practiced in gatherings, conversations, and the willingness to learn from one another. In 2025, our Community Resource Groups (CRGs) put that idea into action – creating spaces to share culture and unwind with one another.

For the first time, every CRG showed up in the same place, for the same moment. More than 300 Relativians gathered for a summer BBQ where each group hosted a game, making it easy for employees and leaders to connect.

Amplifying Belonging with Quarterly Culture Collectives

Led by CRG volunteers, our company-wide Culture Collectives invited Relativians to pause, listen, and practice belonging together. Each session explored a different theme, from global communication and caregiving to practical ways to build belonging into everyday work. Together, these sessions strengthened shared language, leadership capability, and accountability – turning belonging into a practiced skill rather than an abstract value.

Powered by Relativians: Inclusion & Impact Committees

Across the US, EMEA, and Poland, Inclusion & Impact Committees served as a catalyst for growing people through action – empowering employees to develop leadership skills while transforming personal cultural energy into shared belonging. These locally driven, energy-fueled initiatives aligned with our global impact strategy and resonated across cultures. These initiatives included:
