Relativity Higher Education Program Signs Eighteen Law Schools in 2026

Relativity, a legal data intelligence company, today announced that Relativity Academic, its program that provides education to law school and paralegal students, has signed on 18 schools in 2026. These schools include:

• University of Notre Dame du Lac 

• University of Virginia 

• University of Washington  

• University of Wisconsin 

• Yale University 

Since 2012, the Relativity Academic program has partnered with more than 115 universities, law schools, paralegal and data science programs across the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Ireland, Australia, and select Asian and European countries, equipping over 3,000 students in the past year with practical experience using the same technology relied on by corporations, law firms, service providers and government agencies.  

In a mutual effort to help elevate the role of legal data intelligence in academic institutions, Relativity provides students and faculty from these institutions with curriculum built to accommodate a variety of learning styles, training for professors and law librarians, a live Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)-compliant database, a step-by-step RelativityOne training workbook, opportunities to connect with industry experts and more, at no cost.   

This news follows CEO Phil Saunders' recent participation on the Selection Committee for The National Law Review and Wickard’s 2026 Top 50 Legal Innovators in Academia, as well as the Relativity Academic program's curriculum expansion to include modules covering large language models, generative AI, and how to use aiR Review, Case Strategy, and Privilege.
