June 11, 2026
Relativity today announced that Rel Labs, its investment arm, has backed Courtroom, a platform that simulates real courtroom decision-makers. Today, Courtroom announced its public launch and pre-seed funding.
"With Rel Labs, we aim to back innovators in transforming legal data intelligence workflows, from triggering event all the way to final outcome. By bringing the power of AI to a critical moment in the trial preparation workflow, Courtroom is doing exactly that,” said Arjun Ahluwalia, Chief Strategy Officer at Relativity. “Theirs is the sort of bold vision Rel Labs was designed to support, and we are excited to congratulate the Courtroom team on this milestone."
Courtroom is designed to enable litigation teams to privately simulate real courtroom decision-makers and incorporate that juror and judge perspective into case strategy from the first day of preparation. The company reports that its platform is already trusted by AmLaw 100 firms and Fortune 1000 corporations across products liability, patent infringement, mass torts, and multidistrict litigation matters.
Rel Labs focuses on identifying emerging technologies, exploring new workflows and partnering with early-stage companies that extend or complement Relativity’s mission. Solutions such as Courtroom enhance the full breadth of the legal data intelligence ecosystem and reflect Relativity’s dedication to identifying cutting-edge AI tools that deliver meaningful value to the legal industry. The investment joins Patlytics and Advocacy as part of Rel Labs' growing portfolio of purpose-built legal AI solutions.
